Clark-Chamber, the new polypropylene B125 access chamber from Clark-Drain has been specifically designed for traffic signals, street lighting and communication networks.
Constructed of 100% recycled polypropylene, it delivers optimal safety, longevity and strength whilst being lightweight, durable and saving time on site for electrical and groundwork contractors.Available in clear opening sizes of 300mm, 450mm and 600mm widths, the chamber provides easy and safe installation and maintenance access to underground utilities.
The new B125 chamber has push-fit connections, allowing interlocking panels to be assembled quickly to accommodate the recommended depths for different utility applications. Sliding T-Slot corner connections aid levelling and assembly, and trepanned entries enable duct entries to be drilled with no measuring or marking. Chamber panels are injection-moulded in 100% recycled polypropylene, topped by a composite access cover with galvanised steel louvre frame. The unique honeycomb structure of the chamber panels allow concrete to flow into the voids, adding to the overall structural strength.
The non-ferrous B125 composite cover is non-conductive thus protecting pedestrians against voltage dispersion especially in wet environments. Resistant to chemicals, deformation, rust and corrosion, the cover is designed to provide optimum product life span. With a PSRV slip resistance value of 60 the cover is also ideal for pedestrian and light vehicular traffic up to 12.5T loading.
