Clark-Drain to support PCUK on Keyline Rally 2017

Clark-Drain is participating in this year’s Keyline Rally to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.

Sarah Hughes and Pippa Tovey who work at Clark-Drain are supporting the charity by way of travelling from the UK through Spain to Andorra and back in just 6 days in a 20 year old Mercedes dressed as Sci-Fi characters from the Star Wars movies.

Sarah, Sales Director at Clark-Drain says, “As a supplier to Keyline we are proud to be taking part in the rally to help support the events annual target of £100,000.”

The event, organised by Builder’s Merchant, Keyline, begins on the 27th June and will see suppliers from across their Group taking part in the rally. With a Sci-Fi theme, many of the rally vehicles will undergo custom makeovers for their journey.

As well as raising money for the charity, the rally is about increasing awareness of prostate cancer. Over the years, through continued support from fundraisers, Prostate Cancer UK has invested millions of pounds in research, services and awareness and is leading the way in providing prostate education to medical professionals.

Pippa, Merchant Sales Manager at Clark-Drain said: “This is the third year that Clark-Drain has taken part in this annual rally which has always been a daunting prospect given the age of the vehicles and the mountainous and winding roads, however we are confident we can make it there and back in one piece. Our thanks go out to all who sponsor us!”

The money raised by Clark-Drain will go towards PCUKs work on making improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support.
