Office closed in memory of Clark-Drain co-founder - September 2nd, 2014

It is with deep personal regret that I write to inform you of the passing of my mother, Dorothy Clark. Along with my father Francis Clark she co-founded our company Clark-Drain Ltd, formerly Clarksteel Ltd back in 1963. Francis sadly passed away in 1998 and Dorothy remained actively involved throughout her life.

Our company was built upon their drive to meet a need in the market by producing one of the first steel manhole covers. Along with other family members in key roles within our company we have kept to those original ideals and values.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday 2nd September and as a mark of respect our offices will be closed to enable our workforce to attend.

We will reopen again on Wednesday 3rd September as a normal working day.

I would like to thank you in anticipation of your understanding at this time of sadness in loving remembrance of a life generously and happily lived.

For customers, business associates and suppliers wishing to pay their respects, the funeral will be held from 1.00 p.m. at St. Peter's Church, Yaxley, followed by interment at Yaxley cemetery. For flowers or donations in support of Dorothy's favourite charity organisations, The British Heart Foundation and The East Anglian Air Ambulance Service, all enquiries should go to Smiths Funeral Directors, Church View House, 75 High Street, Fletton, Peterborough PE2 8DT. Tel: 01733 347 474

Kind Regards,

Ron Clark
